Lexington, SC — Today, Cammie Campbell announced her candidacy for Lexington County Probate Judge, stepping forward with a commitment to strengthen the court through thoughtful leadership, improved efficiency, and a focus on serving individuals and families during life's most important moments.

Campbell, who currently works within the Lexington County Probate Court, brings firsthand knowledge of the court's operations, its responsibilities, and the critical role it plays in the community. Her decision to run comes from a desire to build upon that experience and further enhance how the court serves the public.

"Most people don't think about the Probate Court until they need it. And when they do, it's often during one of the most difficult moments in their lives. In those moments, people deserve clarity, professionalism, and a system that works the way it should."

Campbell said her experience inside the court has given her a unique perspective on both its strengths and the opportunities to improve.

"I've had the privilege of seeing firsthand how much this court matters — not just in process, but in people's lives. I've also seen where small, thoughtful improvements can make a meaningful difference for families navigating difficult situations."
